It seems my Mother heard about the Virus that was going
around the E-mail. She knew I recently purchased the
Web TV, so she called me on the phone very concerned.
Honey, I just heard that there is a virus going around
with the people who write E-mails, you'd better not use
it for awhile. I don't want you to get sick. (my Mother
is 87 years old, and hasn't been able to catch up with
all this new technology.)

Topless saleswomen are legal in Liverpool, England - but only
in tropical fish stores. (But of course!)

The nursery rhyme "Ring Around the Rosey" is a rhyme about the plague.
Infected people with the plague would get red circular sores ("Ring
around the rosey"), these sores would smell very badly so common folks
would put flowers on their bodies somewhere (inconspicuously), so that
it would cover the smell of the sores ("a pocket full of posies").
Furthermore, people who died from the plague would be burned so as to
reduce the possible spread of the disease ("ashes, ashes, we all fall
down").
