Frequently, I get a strip of coupons or other promotional
items from a little printer at the checkout of my local grocery.

Coupons emerge as a thank-you for purchasing a product, or
based on some other derived data.

Yesterday, after buying a couple pints of Ben & Jerry's
Ice Cream (my favorite bad-for-me snack food), I got the
following checkout coupons in sequence:

    High Cholesterol Survival Guide 

The fossilized remnants of an asteroid that may have caused 
the global extinction of dinosaurs and other species more than 
65 million years ago has been found by a National Science 
Foundation researcher. Surprisingly, carbon dating indicates 
that Aerosmith did the theme music for that asteroid, too.

Joseph Schwartz, a career criminal, was wanted for looting in
Israel's port city, Haifa.  On the A.P.B. Wanted poster, he was
described as the  son of an ex-nun from Spain and a German father. 
It went on to  include  the facts that he was a musician adept at
the piccolo and often  worked as  a farmhand.
 
In other words... he was a Haifa lootin', flutin' Teuton, son of a
nun from Barcelona, part-time plowboy Joe...
