Nairobi, Kenya -- A Kenyan doctor who removed a bean stuck in the ear of
a young girl forced it back when her parents said they couldn't afford
the bill, local newspapers reported Wednesday.

The Daily Nation said the doctor successfully removed the bean from the
child's ear and then presented the parents with a bill for $5.75.

When they said they did not have enough money, the doctor grabbed the
child, forced the bean back into her ear and ejected the family from his
workplace.

The Kenya Medical Association said it was investigating the incident.

Recently I answered the phone and it was a sales person
from a long distance company. They asked for my late father
by name.
"I'm sorry," I answered, "but he's dead."
Their reply, "May I leave a number in case the situation
changes?" 

England: A German "tourist," supposedly on a golf
holiday, shows up at customs with his golf bag.
While making idle chatter about golf, the customs
official realizes that the tourist does not know
what a "handicap" is. The customs official asks the
tourist to demonstrate his swing, which he does --
backward! A substantial amount of narcotics was found
in the golf bag.
